Welcome to The Danish Club
Membership 2008-9 ? -  click here

Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter - all Danes appreciate and have great expectations to each season. We, at The Danish Club in Sydney, understand the excitement that comes with each seasonal change, and we endeavour to maintain the traditional Danish culture by arranging social functions - just as if you were in Denmark.

The Danish Club has been in existence now for over 30 years, and at our famous sunday luncheons and popular evening functions(usually with live bands) we provide a place for Scandinavians and Australians to get together socially and have fun. It is also our aim to provide a place for newly arrived people to meet with those settled in Sydney and we try to emphasize family-based entertainment.

Our Club House is half way between Chatswood and Dee Why in the Northern Beaches area surrounded by beautiful Frenchs Forest bush, on the border of the Garigal National Park and Bantry Bay. There is a wonderful view of the City skyline from the Club House. Click on 'The map' to look at a local map to help you find where we are.

Click 'Events' to have a look at our current social calendar and feel free to come to any of our functions whenever you have the opportunity.  You do not need to be a member (or Danish!) but please book by contacting the numbers above. The  'Newsflash'  will give you details of upcoming events and you might find other interesting items in this monthly newsletters which is send out to our members.

On 'Membership' you can save and print a membership application form if you want to become a member of our Club. Sign it and post it to us together with the $70 fee ($20 registration fee and $50 annual membership).
You will note our postal address at the top of this page.

Should you have any questions about the Club or just like to talk to someone about getting involved, please contact anyone in the 'Contact' list.
