Sankt Hans Party - A great night with good food, bonfire, "snobrod' and smooth jazz
music. This particular evening was also a fundraising event where food and drinks were
donated so the profit can go towards the cost of a new bar fridge. June (photos by

Christmas in July - We celebrated a White Christmas (I'm not kidding, just look at the photos)
and a scrumptious traditional fare made by Hanne Andersen, and the Christmas tree was

First event of the year 'Fastelavn' was cancelled due to insufficient bookings. (See

Danmark Cup 2009 - Sunday 31 May - an exciting and fun-filled event jointly organised by the
Danish Church and the Club. After the game there were cold drinks and BBQ,
and sadly,we farewelled our Treasurer of many years, Jens Storgaard. What a day!

EUROFEST - 19 & 20 September: The largest multi cultural family fun festival in Sydney, held
at Ararat Reserve. The Danish Club was open for lunch on both days and in the beer tent we

2010

Fastelavn - and lunch, Sunday 28 February. A great event for kids, small and big, to dress up
and hit the barrel stocked with lollies. The person who brings it down will be crowned Queen/
King of the Barrel. (photos Lisbeth Hansen)

Danmark Cup 2010 - Sunday 30 May. A fun-filled day, showing great skill and enthusiasm from
all players of various regions of Denmark. The event is organised by both the Danish Church
and the Club. Cold drinks and a BBQ followed the games. (Click first on Danmark Cup and then
